Lake Sevan- This is undoubtedly one of the most exciting sight in Armenia. It is << the pearl of Armenia>>. This wonder is situated at almost 2000m above the sea level. Its beauty is austere and majestic. The pure air and sandy beaches attract holiday makers. This is the largest lake of the Caucasus and one of the highest fresh water lakes in the world. Sevanavank-this church is on the top of Sevan peninsula. From here opens the wonderful view of lake Sevan.
Tsaxkadzor- Tsakhkadzor is a fast developing cozy resort town, famous for its shining fields of snow, ropeway chair-lift, numerous respectable hotels and resort houses, as well as chic restaurants, recreation centers, camping and sport installations that have lured the skiing elite from around the world for many years.Located on the southeast slope of Mount Teghenis, in a picturesque wooded valley on the left bank of river Marmarik, at an altitude of 1,840m above sea level, Tsakhkadzor (meaning ‘Gorge of Flowers’ in Armenian) is a truly unique haven for skiers, who come here to taste the drive going down the magnificent mountain. Once a quiet destination, the town began to gain popularity as a skiing and winter location during the rush of Olympic training in 1988, further developing into a ski resort and later fully modernized with the old lifts being replaced. Kecharis is a medieval Armenain monastic complex dating back to the 11th to 13th centuries, located 60 km from Yerevan, in the ski resort town of Tsakhkadzor in Armenia.
